Pricing questions
Why starting prices instead of fixed prices?+
Because the data decides the work. One clean public source is very different from five messy internal ones. The assessment pins that down, and you get a fixed quote before anything starts.
Are hosting and data costs included?+
No, by design. Infrastructure runs in your own accounts so you own it outright, and you pay providers directly. For most small platforms that's tens of dollars a month.
Can my platform really sell its data?+
Yes, if the data is verified and useful to others. We set up free, Pro, and license tiers with API keys — the way TexasHomeBills™ sells commercial use of its data, MyGeneLog™ sells weekly dataset snapshots, and aiSwingX™ licenses its analysis. The assessment tells you honestly whether your data has buyers.
Do I have to buy an operations plan?+
No. It's optional and month-to-month. Your platform runs in your own accounts either way.
Can we resell the platform's source code?+
No. You get the full source code and a perpetual license to run, change, and grow the platform for your own business, but selling, sublicensing, or reusing the code commercially — including as a template for other businesses — isn't permitted without our written agreement. Your data, on the other hand, is always yours to use, license, or sell.
