Software Development, Automation & Maintenance

We build and run the software your business needs.

Custom development, business automation, and production maintenance across web, cloud, and desktop — engineered around your problem, not a fixed stack. 20+ years running production systems, now available as an ongoing retainer or one-off engagement.

Built for businesses without a developer on staff

If any of this sounds familiar, you don't need to hire a developer — you need someone to call.

  • Site or app running slower than it used to, and no one knows why
  • Bugs piling up because there's no one to fix them
  • You inherited an old system nobody on your team wants to touch
  • Your app was built years ago in an outdated language and needs to be rebuilt
  • Someone on your team spends hours a week on manual data pulls, spreadsheets, or reports that could run themselves

We're the outsourced dev & ops team — keeping things running without you having to hire, manage, or understand any of it yourself.

What we take on

Ongoing Maintenance & Infrastructure Retainer

24/7 monitoring, patching, and backups for your AWS/Linux servers (EC2, RDS/PostgreSQL, Docker, Nginx), plus ongoing maintenance for existing Python APIs and data pipelines — dependency updates, error triage, and uptime, without you having to think about it.

Business Process Automation

Turn repetitive manual work — data pulls, spreadsheet updates, report generation, status checks — into scheduled scripts that run unattended, with automatic email or Slack alerts when something needs attention. Built with Python and RPA tooling.

Custom Software — Web, Cloud & Desktop

New web applications, cloud-connected tools, and cross-platform desktop software for Windows, macOS, and Linux — including AI-assisted interfaces — or migrating an existing one, such as reverse-engineering undocumented C#/.NET legacy systems and rebuilding on Python/Flask + PostgreSQL. NaruBase™ is a live example of what we ship, with products already running on all three. Requires a precise, documented set of requirements up front, and is scoped case-by-case before anything is committed to — or skip the spec entirely: try a $39 NaruBase™ product as a working starting point and tell us what to change instead, billed hourly the same way.

AI-Native Development & Agent-Ready Systems

Production-grade development accelerated with Claude Code, Cursor, and AI coding agents — debugging, refactoring, and shipping features faster without sacrificing correctness or code quality. We also build the software itself to stay legible to AI agents: clean structure, real documentation, interfaces an agent can operate directly instead of only a human clicking through a UI. As more of the market shifts toward agentic tools operating software on people's behalf, this isn't a future upgrade we'll get to eventually — it's how we build today.

Frequently asked questions

How much does server or software maintenance cost?+

Hourly work is $65-85/hr. Ongoing maintenance is typically a monthly retainer of $500-2,000+, scoped to your systems and usually covering up to about 10 hours per week. Exact pricing depends on what you're running.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?+

No. Retainers are month-to-month, and one-off work (a fix, an audit, a migration) can be billed hourly with no ongoing commitment.

I don't have any technical background — can I still work with you?+

Yes, that's who this is built for. You describe the problem in plain language (slow site, an error message, "it stopped working") and we handle the technical side, including translating it back into terms you understand.

Can you take over a system someone else built?+

Yes — most of our work is exactly this. We reverse-engineer undocumented systems (including legacy C#/.NET applications) before making changes, so we understand what's actually there before touching anything.

What happens if something breaks outside business hours?+

Retainer clients get a defined response window as part of their engagement. We'll agree on what "urgent" means for your systems before anything goes live.

Do you work with businesses outside the US?+

Yes, we work remotely with clients in any timezone — most communication happens over email and calls, and access to your systems is set up securely regardless of location.
